We ordered a BLT and some chicken wings the first day and the bartender was VERY clear that it usually takes 30-40 mins for food bc it comes from inside the hotel, this was no problem and he searched us out of the crowd to give us our food when it arrived. So of course, it gets more crowded and fun after noon. On the weekends the pool is open for hotel guests only from 10-12 and the they open it for people to pay 20$ (I think) and enter. Friday when there was a bunch of 20 somethings it was more modern, Saturday morning when there were a bunch of 40-60 something white people they had country and 90s playing. Well, we were here for Ron White weekend at the casino, and the service was on point, they were sufficiently staffed, the drinks were excellent, the bartenders were great, they give you free bottles of water, and the had age appropriate music for the crowd. If you are going there to win on the slots, forget it. The decor is a country western, sorta, fancy look to it. The slots were loose, the employees seemed happy, everything was always sparkly clean.
There was a time when the Horseshoe was'the' place to go. I read a bunch of other reviews complaining about the service and food speed and music choice. 281 reviews of Horseshoe Bossier City 'All that glitters is not gold. You can, however wear a teeny tiny bikini :) and it is 21 and up only. Well, I don’t care WHAT anyone else says, the DARE pool is NOT topless so don’t get your hopes up lol.
